Merging Devices

The form for Device Merge is only required when Upgrading to V7. It is not required for new installs.

The function of this form is to allow you to copy devices and their permissions from the Company Database to the common database. The goal is to save you the time and effort of manually recreating devices when upgrading.



The form requires you to select the company you are working with and then to select some or all of the devices you wish to merge. Devices shown in the default grid colours of white/grey exist in the company database but not the common database. If you select to Merge those devices they will be added to the common database.
