This covers the last panel on the Step Maintenance Form.

The last panel shows different data depending on the step you are looking at. For input steps, it shows the Validations acting on the step. For Decision steps, it shows the decision and for Print and Log file steps it shows the step setup detail (this can only be viewed and not modified).

If you click on a step with validation, the panel will look like this. If there is no validation defined for that step, the grid will be blank.

Various Step Validation Panels on Function Step Maintenance Form

There are multiple options available:

Standard Validations

Custom Validations

Confirmation on Validations - The general use of a validation is to return an error and require the operator to enter valid data. There are however times when the data you expect the operator to scan is more of a suggestion or a recommendation and while you want to warn them that they entered data that was not expected you may want to let them accept that data and continue. The confirmation option does that.
